Papers and Workshops

Papers

Authors are invited to submit one publishable article or proposal for research presentation on the subject of electroacoustic music.  Selected articles and presentations will be represented in the conference booklet by their abstracts.  Copy-ready papers will be forwarded to the editors of Journal SEAMUS for review. All papers and workshop proposals must be submitted through the SEAMUS submissions portal.

Workshops

Technologists are invited to propose workshops introducing software and/or hardware configurations that are either general purpose or specific to a particular composition.  Proposals should indicate if these are best presented as ongoing demonstrations or scheduled presentations.

Other Formats

In addition to the above opportunities, we welcome researchers to propose presentation in other formats, such as panel discussions, or a piece and paper.

The Venue

Papers, posters, and workshops will be presented in the Multipurpose Room of the Newman Library. Built to accommodate a wide range of multimedia activities, the room includes two 90-inch monitors, six 70-inch monitors, teleconferencing and videoconference, and can accommodate 100 chairs and 20 tables.
